Actor’s retrospective. Our guest will be Stanisława Celińska. We will show movies and TV theatre productions with her participation and invite our viewers to participate in a meeting with the actor.

STANISŁAWA CELIŃSKA – One of the greatest Polish actresses. She has been cast in plays by renown Polish directors (Jerzy Kreczmar, Erwin Axer, Zygmunt Hubner, Tadeus Łomnicki, Bohdan Cybulski). Since 2011 she has been part of Warsaw’s Nowy Teatr, she works with Krzysztof Warlikowski on a regular basis. Her role in Warlikowski’s “Cleansed” won her the Aleksander Zelwerowicz prize. Celińska’s wide body of work includes roles in over 60 theatre plays and 90 motion pictures. She had her great cinematic debut in Andrzej Wajda’s “Landscape After the Battle” (a great success at the Cannes festival). Stanisława Celińska is a singing actress; she performed at the Opole festival as early as 1969. December 2012 saw the release of her debut album, “Nowa Warszawa,” recorded in co-operation with pianist Bartek Wąsik and the Royal String Quartet.
